It was our first time trying Indonesian food. It was awesome! The food is exactly like its pic on the menu (a super positive point if you are not familiar with their dishes). The owner is so kind, explaining to us which sauce is spicy, checking with us regularly to make sure we have everything we need. Great service! Another positive point about this restaurant is that they have clearly mentioned in their website (multiple times) that they serve halal meat unlike the other halal restaurants that you need to check lots of pages to make sure it is halal.

Delicious and 98% authentic. Took 2% off for the spiciness. Been here 4 times and each time, it's a little less spicy. Had Gado Gado, Ayam Bakar Kecap and Tumis Terong Balado. Several of the reviews mentioned that it was too spicy and I get that the owners had to make it less spicy to appeal to the general pop but maybe they can have a jar of sambal that was "Indonesian Hot" and serve it to those who request it kind of like Thai restaurants with the spice level of "Thai Hot". Maybe ask the patrons the level of spiciness they would like. I get that certain dishes cannot be made to a certain spice level e.g. rendang as it requires braising for several hours prior but many of the dishes ...

I’ve missed Indonesian food for so long and a visit to this restaurant did not disappoint. Had the gado-gado, sate ayam, nasi padang, and bakwan jagung. Every dish was amazing and tastes like home.
